With tip-off last weekend signifying the real start of the
NBA season my natural tendencies of the watching television started coming to
the forefront. I have kind of been tuned out of TV as I have been writing and
reading these past couple of months in a way that took me back to before my
children were born.
Still, I fell off that wagon. I was watching games during the
week, not writing, not reading, not doing much but being a couch potato. Then
the “brilliant” Donald Sterling made his comments that were shared on TMZ.
I am not surprised by the comments as I feel those comments
are shared by a majority of millionaires and billionaires which is why the
world is in the condition it is in with ideas of population control, eugenics,
miseducation, neocolonialism, and more still pillaging the lands of people of
color.
It is the same 1% that also contribute to the for profit
prison system. The funny thing about this is that it just got out to the public
which means that for whatever reason he has angered some of his friends who
have decided to throw him under the bus. Somebody at Warner Brothers Entertainment
does not like him as all these guys move in the same circle.
So I am thankful for the remarks because it was a slap to
the face to wake up and stop giving these clowns my attention and make sure that
I am spending my precious time creating. It is not a slight to the basketball
players or coaches who are just doing their jobs. Although they do have a voice
until I am out there putting myself on the line every day defending our people
in a public setting where I face their same level of critique I cannot be mad
at them for doing what they feel is best. I think we look to people to do
things for us. But we are still going to the games, watching them on television;
not even doing basic things to make a difference. But now that this rant is out
of my system. Back to editing Circle 7 which should be coming soon. I am not
going to put a date out anymore but know it will be a classic and worth the
wait. Thank you for reading the thoughts of a normal lunatic.
